Dairy's a tough one, as most Paleo folks tend to stay away from it - a portion of the world is lactose intolerant, and those that aren't usually have at least some form of an aversion to it. Why is that? Because no other animal in the whole kingdom drinks dairy beyond infancy. Hunter-gatherers didn't lug cows around with them whilst travelling - milk was consumed as child, and this was it. Much like grains, our anatomies weren't suitable for massive dairy intake. There is information that some version to dairy products has occurred throughout the years, specifically with people with ancestry in herding cultures, but this is not a lot of the population.
The con with the Paleo diet is that for most of the people that abide by it, they tend to consume probably a little bit too much beef, in my opinion, as well as some poisonous animal substances. Plus, they actually don't stress organic for the reason that diet.
